JC Kids (3-5th grade) and Kingdom Kids (K-2nd grade) are fellowship groups for elementary school children that meet monthly for fellowship, service, and fun. We focus on serving others while building relationships with each other and with our community
JC and Kingdom Kids are led by Lori Buchanan and Kim Paul. Lori and Kim are both former teachers and good friends who love combining their love for children and their love for Christ in this program. Bring your child to one of our events, we promise they will leave feeling the love of God.

We will meet at the church at 9:15 and head to Canoe Creations Ministry in Blue Rock, where Al and Amy Parker will lead our adventure. We will return to the church at noon. Those who would like to, are asked to make a $3 donation towards the cost of the trip. Please reserve your spot on this trip by RSVPing by September 18th (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Sunday, October 13th
The Crop Hunger Walk is organized to help end hunger in our community, the U.S. and around the world. Families participating in the walk are invited to join us for a pizza lunch in the youth room after the 10:30 service. The walk will begin at 1:30 at Zanes Landing. The total walk is 6 miles. We know little legs don’t always make it that far, so you are welcome as a family to make it as far as you can and then turn around. There is a halfway point at Riverside Park which is a nice place to turn around if you are walking with children. Strollers and wagons are welcome too. Donation envelopes will be available in the office at the end of September/early October. Please RSVP for the pizza lunch by October 9th.
Saturday, November 23rd, 11-12:30
Children (and their parents) are invited to help us serve at Christ’s Table. Children will be given tasks such as putting sandwiches, sides or desserts on the tray, rolling silverware, or stocking items in the food pantry. You can sign up for this event on the bulletin board outside the church office, or by emailing Kim.
December 14th, 4:00
We will meet at the church and then visit our home-bound members living in group homes to spread holiday cheer. Our older members eagerly anticipate this annual visit from our children! Following caroling, we will return to the church and enjoy pizza and a Christmas movie. Please RSVP by December 4th so that we can plan for transportation.
